Sorry Viv, but I think I found another puffy jacket to fulfill all my bank-breaking and cold weather requirements, for only $6 more. I'd prefer the bustle version (above), but the sleeping bag version (below), where the sleeves begin at waist level, does sound warmer. Both are by Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons, my newest obsession. Sigh.
