Online medication

I thought that managing to eat part of a sandwich made me feel better, but it was simply an illusion. These, however, definitely make me feel better:

1) Kate Towers Goldilox Party Dress.

2) Attila Design Hide and Seek Convertible Submarine Cowl Scarf. Yes, this is quite similar to the one I purchased from Tiina in the summer, but I love it to pieces. And I like shiny things.

3) ArtLab Gift Certificates. Patricia has these listed in $25, $50, $75, and $100 denominations. Too bad it's so close to Christmas - this would've been the only thing on my Christmas list!

4) I just discovered that Doshaburi, the online shop I regularly window shop for Gemma Degara and butterflysoulfire, carries Marjan Pejoski pieces. Marjan is that genius Macedonian designer who created the iconic swan dress worn by Björk at the 2001 Oscars. His S/S 10 collection features spider web prints, so I might want to nab something from the F/W 09 collection (lace prints), especially as some of them are on sale. My man is afraid of spiders.

High speed misses

I'm really feeling the effects of my super slowed down 'high speed' internet lately. Two updates by two of my favorite Etsyians have proven too fast for me to even think of pulling out that dangerous piece of plastic. Saturday's loss was black-eyed suzie's long awaited shop update, complete with all things witchy. I am still debating getting a pendant since I missed that Lady MacBeth one from the last update, but my favorites (above) have long been relegated to the sold list.

And today's loss is an unexpected shop update from the ever so lovely and talented Kate Towers. Kate has been on a bit of a hiatus lately, but it seems that Etsy stole away some of her time to interview her as the current Featured Seller. Kate also restocked the shop to prepare for the feature with some very lovely one of a kind pieces. However, yet again, my favorites (below) were gone before I got there. Sigh. Kate does say that she's hoping to be a bit more consistent in making/listing things in the future, so I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed on owning one of her pieces one day.

Ruffled beauty

I obviously have a thing for ruffles lately, as a few of my most recent purchases are ArtLab's Charlie Chaplin Couture Bib, Weatherread's Raw Ruched Cotton Jacket, and Bonzie's Le Coquette Ruffled Scarf. So it's no surprise that my heart skipped a beat when I saw Kate Towers' newest listings. I would snatch each one up if I were the right size. Sigh.
