Comforting totem poles

Not much sleep and backed-up kitchen sinks make me long for something clean, dry, and comforting. And the newest Quillinan pieces surely fit these requirements. I love Susi's newest idea of fabric totem poles, incorporated into her signature typewriter-typed free association fabric neckpieces. As Susi says, totem poles "remind of how our stories of ourselves accumulate one on top of the other, creating our memory and our sometimes unsteady, sometimes messy, sometimes beautiful idea of who we are." Just beautiful. And these are lower priced than her previous listings, for those of you who have been waiting to get yourself a Quillinan textile piece. Sigh.

I'm sure you've done your homework already, but do make sure you read my exclusive interview with Susi to find out more about this amazing artist.
