I'm feeling like I need to plug what my dear own country has to offer a little more, as nearly every post within the past week has been on designers separated from me by oceans and languages. And so, here are photos of the perfect store, separated from me by only a few mountains. This is the Mandula flagship store in my 2nd hometown, Vancouver. Sigh.
And this, is the perfect pair of shorts, of course by Mandula. I am not a shorts kind of gal, but these are utterly fantastic. Hajnalka creates pieces that seem based directly on...me. And the customer service provided by both Hajnalka via email and Shannon at the store is exceptional. I'm just saying. And I'm definitely stopping by next time I'm in town.

God, what a beautiful space. When can I move in?
My thoughts exactly. One of those stumps has my name on it. I'd be happy to just stare at those clothes for hours in that light...
This is the kind of store in which I could spend days and days and would want to try on every piece in every possible combination.
