I was rather looking forward to seeing Jean-Pierre Jeunet's new movie, Micmacs. Amélie is one of my Top 5 movies of all time. And while I've only seen it once, The City of Lost Children remains one of the most interesting films I've seen. Micmacs fell short of creating a character like Amélie Poulain that I cared about (and wanted to be like), but it definitely had that Jeunet aesthetic and elaborate plot. And somehow it made my ring finger go numb. Hmm...
And speaking of elaborate, I think my next goal in my dream life is to have a photoshoot with this helmet by Christine My Linh.
